Das Foto der Woche entstand in New York City. Ich hatte viel vor und hatte geplant, nach der Landung nach Coney Island zu fahren, da ich den Charme der alten Fahrgeschäfte und die Strandpromenade zum Fotografieren ganz toll finde. Leider sagte die Wettervorhersage starker Regen und heftige Gewitter voraus. Also habe ich mich entschlossen, in Manhattan zu bleiben. Tatsächlich habe ich ca. 1 Stunde trocken verbracht, bevor es wie vorhergesagt zur Sache ging.

Und so habe ich den späten Nachmittag in einer Bar verbracht und die Kamera in der Tasche gelassen.

Auf dem Weg ins Hotel hatte ich dann das Glück, Spiegelungen in Pfützen festzuhalten.

The photo of the week was taken in New York City. I had some photos in mind and had planned to head to Coney Island after landing, as I really love the charm of the old rides and the boardwalk for photography. Unfortunately, the weather forecast predicted heavy rain and severe thunderstorms, so I decided to stay in Manhattan. As it turned out, I managed to stay dry for about an hour before the weather turned nasty, just as predicted.

And so I spent the late afternoon in a bar and kept the camera in my bag.

On the way to the hotel, I was lucky enough to capture reflections in puddles.
