Sehr oft sehe ich auf meinen Reisen Menschen, die während eines Spaziergangs oder einer Sightseeing Tour Fotos mit ihrem Handy schiessen: Handy raus aus der Tasche, mit einer Hand abgedrückt und eingesteckt. Natürlich gabs da was zu sehen, aber ob das Bild interessant oder nur dokumentarisch ist, kann man selten erkennen. Aber wenn ich dann Stories oder einen Status sehe, denke ich manchmal, das hätte man besser machen können. Auch der ein oder andere Post auf sozialen Medien haben ein tolles Motiv, aber das Foto selbst ist nur Mittelmaß.
Mit dieser neuen Serie möchte ich gerne wöchentlich Tipps geben, wie Du Deine Fotos ohne großen Aufwand verbessern kannst. Viel Spaß beim Lesen und Ausprobieren.

Very often during my travels, I see people snapping photos with their phones while out for a walk or on a sightseeing tour: phone out of the pocket, shutter pressed with one hand, and back in the pocket it goes. Of course, there was something to see in the moment, but it is rarely possible to tell whether the image is truly interesting or just documentary. Yet when I later come across their stories or status updates, I sometimes find myself thinking: “That could have been done better.” The same goes for the occasional social media post: the subject matter may be fantastic, but the photograph itself isn’t.
With this new series, I would like to share weekly ideas on how you can improve your photos without much effort. Enjoy reading and giving them a try!
