Das Foto der Woche entstand in Rio de Janeiro und zeigt die Promenade der Copacabana am späten Abend. Aufgenommen wurde es von einer roof-top-Bar. Gut zu erkennen ist das ikonische Pflaster der Promenade, die Quadrate daneben sind Strandbars gefolgt von dem breiten Strand.

Da der Strand nachts, hauptsächlich aus Sicherheitsgründen, beleuchtet wird, sind die Palmen mit ihren langen Schatten gut zu erkennen.

Rio de Janeiro ist eine meiner Lieblingsstädte und ich mag den entspannten vibe der Menschen, den Cariocas.

This week’s photo was taken in Rio de Janeiro and shows the Copacabana promenade late in the evening. It was shot from a rooftop bar. The promenade’s iconic paving is clearly visible; the squares alongside it are beach bars, followed by the wide sandy beach.

Since the beach is illuminated at night – primarily for safety reasons – the palm trees and their long shadows are clearly visible.

Rio de Janeiro is one of my favorite cities, and I like the relaxed vibe of the people -the Cariocas.
