Mein Foto der Woche entstand in der Vollmond-Nacht am 5. November. In dieser Nacht war der Mond nur ca. 375.000 km von der Erde entfernt, ansonsten ist er im Durchschnitt ca. 384.400 km entfernt.

Ohne einen “Vergleichsmond” lässt sich das natürlich nicht mit bloßem Auge zu ermitteln. was man allerdings gut wahrnehmen kann ist die Helligkeit. Der “Supermond” ist ca 30% heller als andere Vollmonde

Ich hatte auf jeden Fall Glück, den Mond gut zu fotografieren, als er über der Stadt aufging und dann die leichten Wolkenfelder hinter sich gelassen.

Dank einem Freund, der beim Fernsehen arbeitet und der mein Foto gesehen hatte, wurde es spontan für die Wettervorhersage im Regionalfernsehen verwendet, was mich unheimlich freut!

My photo of the week was taken on the full moon night of November 5th. On that night, the moon was only about 375,000 km away from Earth, the average distance is normally about 384,400 km away.

Without a “reference moon,” this cannot be determined with the bare eye. However, what can be clearly perceived is the brightness of the moon. The “supermoon” is approximately 30% brighter than other full moons.

I was definitely lucky to get a good photo of the moon as he came up over the city and then left the light cloud cover behind.

Thanks to a friend who works in television and who saw my photo, it was spontaneously used for the weather forecast from our regional television broadcaster, which makes me incredibly happy!
