Herzlich Willkommen auf meiner Webseite. 

Mein Name ist Alexander. Ich habe im Juni 2018 angefangen, mich wieder mit der Fotografie zu beschäftigen. Durch regelmäßiges Reisen hatte ich das Gefühl, Momente festhalten zu wollen und Augenblicke mit Freunden und Familie zu teilen. Lange Zeit habe ich gedacht, dass dies mein Hauptgrund ist, zu fotografieren. Natürlich hat es mich interessiert, wie bestimmte Techniken funktionieren oder wie man das Bestmögliche aus einer Aufnahme herausholen kann. Heute schaue ich mir einige Bilder von damals an und denke: ja, nett. Aber belanglos. Und dann sehe ich andere Fotos, die ich gemacht habe und denke mir, dass ich im Grunde damals schon einen ähnlichen Blick für Motive hatte, nur das Ergebnis hat sich langsam verändert.

In den vergangen Jahren hat sich mein Equipment vervielfacht, von Makroobjektiven über Superzooms und Blitzlichter, und mehrere Bücher über Fotografie stehen im Regal – aber ich habe auch festgestellt, dass wir mit allen Ratgebern und Lehrbüchern oft nicht besser fotografieren – man muss das Sehen lernen, den Blick schärfen und die Situation einfangen können. Ich habe Bilder gemacht, die sind technisch nicht perfekt, manchmal auch überhaupt nicht gut, aber dennoch faszinieren sie mich. 

Manchmal hilft es, nicht nach Buch zu fotografieren, sondern aus dem Bauch heraus.

Welcome to my website.

My name is Alexander. I started getting back into photography in June 2018. Through regular travel, I felt the desire to capture moments and share them with friends and family. For a long time, I thought this was my main reason for taking photographs. Of course, I was interested in how certain techniques worked or how to get the most out of a shot. Today, I look at some pictures from back then and think: yes, nice. But irrelevant. And then I see other photos I took and I realize that, basically, I already had a similar eye for subjects back then, only the result has slowly changed.

Over the past few years, my equipment has multiplied, from macro lenses to superzooms and flashlights, and I have several books about photography. But I’ve also realized that all the guides and books often don’t help us to take better photos. You have to learn to see, widen your eyes, and be able to see what the situation might bring. I’ve taken pictures that aren’t technically perfect, sometimes not good at all, but they still fascinate me.

Sometimes it helps to shoot like it’s advised in a book, but from your heart and to be in the moment.
