ICM – intentional camera movement
ICM ist eine Technik beim Fotografieren und steht für das beabsichtigte Bewegen der Kamera während das Foto aufgenommen wird.
Für mein Foto habe ich einen Spaziergang durch den Wald unternommen, nachdem es nachts geschneit hat und die Sonne am Tag darauf nur ganz schwach durch die Wolken kam. Der Kontrast der dunklen Baumstämme und der schneebedeckten Äste mit dem Himmel in ähnlichem Farben würden auf einem normalen Foto eher flach und langweilig ausschauen.

ICM is a technique and it’s all about moving the camera while the photo is taken. The movement can be in any direction, in circles or even zooming in or out. The outcome depends on the intensity of the movement.
In my photo I went for a walk through the forest after some snow fall. The sun came out just a bit and the contrast of the brown trunks and the snow covered branches with the almost same colored sky would look quite flat in an ordinary photo.
